 Welcome to the Resource Program

The Sandburg Elementary Resource Program consists of a multidisciplinary team who serves students with identified disabilities and students who demonstrate a need for specialized interventions. We provide a positive, nurturing, learning environment and maintain high expectations for all children. Kindergarten through fifth grade students are seen in a variety of settings including the general classroom, resource room, small groups, and individually. The resource team values parent partnerships and we are proud of our students' successes and the challenges they overcome.

 SMART Board in Resource RoomMinimize

Sandburg Elementary was selected to be part of the Special Education and Morgridge Family Foundation Grant! This grant provides a SMART Board for the resource program and extensive training for resource staff. The SMART Board affords many opportunities to enhance instruction and engage our learners. Thank you Morgridge Family Foundation!
