Fifth grade social studies curriculum covers the history of the United Sates from early exploration to Reconstruction.  Students will learn about the early explorers and settlers to the new world, colonial times, the Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the Civil War, Reconstruction, the U.S. Constitution and our U.S. Presidents.  Students will not only learn about these events as they took place in history but they will also explore how such events continue to shape and affect our lives today.
