Sandburg Elementary is a fantastic place to learn and I feel fortunate to be a teacher here. This is my eighth year teaching at Sandburg. After several years as volunteer in my children’s classes, I was inspired to become an elementary teacher. I received my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Colorado State University and my teacher certification and Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Denver.

I live in Littleton with my husband, Mark and two children, Nate and Kendall, both teenagers. We have two dogs, Tucker and Tessa, who love to take us for walks, trips to the mountains, and even swims at the dog pool! I love to travel, especially to warm tropical places. Reading is another activity that  I enjoy and I also love taking pictures.
