We are currently working on writing fractured fairy tales. We have studied many original fairy tales and the writing elements that are present in this genre. Now, each student will choose an original fairy tale to re-write in a new way.
This year students will develop their writing skills by exploring journaling, Six Traits Writing, the Writing Process, structured paragraph writing, and different genres of writing. They will learn to express themselves creatively and purposefully through a variety of writing exercises.
