My husband Pete and I have three children who all attend Sandburg Elementary.  We are a very active family and enjoy spending time in the mountains and playing sports.  During my free time I love doing anything that involves exploring and discovering new things with my kids.

As a second grade teacher, I focus on the whole child; striving to build self confidence while stretching each child to the next academic level.  I grew up in Washington state where I went to college and received a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Math.  I also hold a Masters degree in English as a Second Language.  I have enjoyed teaching Preschool, Kindergarten and First grade for 15 years.
