 Welcome to Mr.Curry's Classroom

Welcome to Mr. Curry's classroom.  In K-5 art we concentrate on covering all the curriculum in a motivating, effective, and fun way.  I learned early on how important it is for children to enjoy art at this age.  In light of that I have developed lessons which appeal to all students allowing for their full range of abilities to be expressed.  We cover a wide range of topics including: drawing, painting, printmaking, clay, other 3D sculpture, design, art history, aesthetics, art criticism, weaving and collage. The art program reinforces science, math and language arts both in terms of lessons and in terms of students being able to add the visual arts language to these other disciplines.
