Carl Sandburg Elementary School was pleased to welcome Justin Matott as our visiting author this school year. Mr. Matott visited Sandburg all day on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. He has written When I was a Boy I Dreamed, When I was a Girl I Dreamed, Chicken Little Charlie, Go Ask Mom, and poetry collections, There's a Fly on my Toast and Chocolate Covered Frog Legs. Mr. Matott entertained the children with his delightful storytelling and advise for young writers, such as to "revise to be wise"!
