We are currently working on writing fiction stories. The main character in these stories is the animal we are researching in science. This is the perfect way to use our non-fiction information in fiction writing!
This year students will develop their writing skills by exploring journaling, Six Traits Writing, the Writing Process, structured paragraph writing, and different genres of writing. They will learn to express themselves creatively and purposefully through a variety of writing exercises.
