Our children are learning and living in a community that is much different than that in which we were taught. It's the electronic age; the age of computing, communicating, listening, talking, learning, and the ability to share information across the globe. This is the 21st Century Learning Space.

In the Sandburg Tech Lab, we technological integration to ehance the concepts that students are learning in their classrooms, such as Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Citizenship, Music, Art, and PE.  By supporting teachers and students alike in the never-ending quest of becoming technologically literate, we are preparing our students for a future in which they will turn to technology much like we turn to books, periodicals, newspapers and television.   

Teaching students and engaging them in the real uses of technology through the integration of their everyday learning will prepare them to play an active role in our ever-changing world of technology. So, here at Sandburg, our goal is to prepare our students for the journey of 21st Century Learning.
