Our Preschool Program is getting ready for registration for the 2012-2013 school year. Our Early Childhood Program is designed to meet the developmentally appropriate needs of our young learners. Our early childhood teachers provide a nurturing, safe, and happy learning environment where children are engaged actively in acquiring new skills and knowledge. This promotes curiosity and a desire to learn, while building competence and self esteem. Our program also focuses on providing children with a smooth transition from home to school, as well as kindergarten readiness. We will have a Parent Information Night on Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30 p.m. Please come to find out specifics about the Preschool Program and what classes we have to offer for you and your children.
Registration for NEW families will take place on Monday and Tuesday, January 30th and 31st beginning at 9:00am in conjunction with Kindergarten registration. Registration for current Sandburg families and returning Preschool families begins Jan. 23rd. If you have had a child in the program in the past or have another child that currently attends Sandburg, please come by the Preschool classroom to pick up a registration form between Jan. 16th and Jan. 20th to register during the week of the Jan. 23rd. At the time of registration you will need to fill out the registration form and write a check for the non-refundable registration fee of $65 for one child and $85 for 2 or more children in a family.
